When it comes to ranking my ideas, I don't settle for ordinary. I demand exceptional.
My three metrics - hype, four weeks to market, and a short sales lifecycle:
Hype is crucial; it generates buzz and traction effortlessly. And as we've seen with crypto in 2017/2018 and AI now, hype translates into success.
But it's not just about buzz; it's also about speed. Can I launch a fully-fledged MVP in just four weeks? Yes, I can. Why is that important? Because starting something new comes with a hefty dose of risk. By minimizing the time spent in development, I'm able to test multiple ideas and pivot quickly.
The third metric I use is sales lifecycle - I only focus on products with a cycle that lasts no longer than a week. Why waste time and energy on something with a prolonged sales process? My products are designed for immediate consumption, maximizing revenue in the shortest amount of time.
